Bloom’s Digital Taxonomy

Microsoft Tools that can be used Based on Bloom’s Digital Taxonomy

Teachers use Bloom’s Taxonomy and Bloom’s revised Taxonomy in developing teaching and learning experiences .Bloom’s Digital Taxonomy is a way of linking Bloom’s revised taxonomy with the key verbs to use of digital tools.
Benjamin Bloom developed his taxonomy of learning objectives ,in understanding the learning process.He proposed that learning fitted into one of the three psychological domains;
  •  cognitive domain-processing information, knowledge and mental skills
  • Affective domain – Attitudes and feelings
  • Psychomotor domain – manipulative, or physical skills

Bloom’s Taxonomy examines at the cognitive domain and this categorizes and orders thinking skills and objectives.The taxonomy follows the thinking process.
"You can not understand a concept if you do not first remember it.And you can not apply knowledge and concepts if you do not understand them."(  edorigami.wikispaces.com/Bloom%27s+-+Introduction).Its a continuum from LOTS (Lower Order Thinking Skills) to HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills)

The revised Bloom’s  Taxonomy use verbs to describe categories rather than nouns and re-arrange  the sequence within the taxonomy.

Bloom’s Digital Taxonomy map indicates the new digital verbs in blue,and  existing verbs are indicated in black.

I would like to discuss some Microsoft tools that support for each level or category from my next writing.
